October in Lebanon. Nicola wanted to visit the Nahr Ibrahim river and it’s little paradise like riverside. We had a nice with my jeep through the twisting roads, due to the fact that the Nahr Ibrahim was deeply hidden in a valley.
After a half an hour walk, we directly jumped into the ice cold water.
Somebody built a swing there.
I was amazed, how clear the water was. It came directly from the mountains. It was actually really painful to get in, because it was THAT cold.
I had to jump in. The easiest way to cope with ice cold water. I’m such a badass.
Quick, back to the shore. It was too cold 😀
A place like from a movie. Beautiful scenery.
A little cataract.
Two swings, some spots with warm sunlight. I have to visit that place next summer again.
It was about time to get some colour. We had a rest at the stores at the shore.
That photo describes this place the best. Absolutely breathtaking. Nico explored the cataract upstream. I bet, that there are even more beautiful glades like this. Next time we’ll bring some waterproof hiking boots and we’ll walk far more upstream.
More is yet to come.
