Diamonds and rust

Diamonds are girls best friends, right? Sometimes fancy old cars are too.

Nancy and Vanessa gave me the chance for a quick portrait session on an abandoned car graveyard somewhere deep in Halandri.

It was the perfect location for some portraits and closeups from both of them.

As I remember your eyes.
Were bluer than robin’s eggs.
My poetry was lousy you said.
Where are you calling from?

Now you’re telling me.
You’re not nostalgic.
Then give me another word for it.
You who are so good with words.

We fell in love with the location and the light. It was close to dawn and it took us about two hours to spot the location, setup the equipment and get the poses and photographs.

Or rather Thelma and Louise ?

I captured a moment of friendship.

Vanessa giving her best. Taken with a Canon 5d mk II and my beloved 85mm 1.2f. Love that bokeh.

Nancy posing for me. Only available light was used.

Shhhhhht. “Tell nobody what we did here.

A moment in silence.
