a lot of stuff has happened in the last few weeks and months, that’s why I’ll post this entry to share some thoughts with you.
I’ve changed not only the country I was living in, but also the continent. For the last four years I lived in Beirut, Lebanon. It was a challenging, but also extremely valuable experience which I’m very thankful for. Now – almost exactly for three months – I reside in Athens, Greece. I’ll have the opportunity to stay four more years in this beautiful country and I hope I’ll will be able capture as much as I can and post these experiences here on my blog.
Due to the fact that I want to post more frequently, I’ve created the section “random thoughts“, where I share my thoughts, plans for the future, gear talks and just some random babbling with you.
Photography-wise I’ve acquired a Hasselblad 503CW with a 80mm planar lens this year. I began to shoot much, much more film and within a few weeks I’ll begin to learn to develop film for myself. I’ve also dared to change my photo database from Aperture to Capture One Pro 8 – that’s why I’m still in the process of reorganizing my photos and that’s why the lack of posts here on my blog.
I’m working now on different projects, such as close-up portraits of friends and strangers, some street photography and the dreamscapes project. More stuff is yet to come and I hope you’ll enjoy it here.
